“The end of the 1990s represented for many French winegrowers a time when everything seemed possible and, as far as we are concerned, a time when we were freed from our complexes as winegrowers.
From the south, leaving the enclave of Banyuls and the Rectorie. We went to explore the northwest of Roussillon, moving away from the Mediterranean coast, to establish a “base”. (Marc Parcé, 2010).

2000 - Thanks to the Maury cooperative, we were able to experiment... try red wine vinifications with a view to a future AOP in this terroir that at that time only produced VDN.

2001 - Thanks to this experience, a winery was acquired in Les Fenouillèdes, near Cru Maury. There, applying the same requirements and the same discipline as at La Rectorie, La Préceptorie was born and grew.
