Rancio wine is one of those wines with character, one that is not easily forgotten. It is a wine with a very particular production process, where the passage of time and exposure to the elements play a fundamental role. The aim is to obtain a wine that transports us to another time, full of depth and character.

Soil : Licorella & Clay-calcareous

Winemaking : Rapid fermentation at room temperature with the last pressings of the white grapes

Aging : In oak barrels for years in an oxidative environment

Tasting Notes

Orange reflections  

An extraordinary and complex nose. We find aromas of roasted coffee, vanilla, licorice, curry, and nuts, characteristic of a long aging outdoors in oak barrels.  

On the palate it is powerful, captivating and elegant, combining a good balance between fat and acidity and unfolding a complex palette of aromas, in the same register as the sense of smell.

The finish is endless with notes of candied orange zest, apricot, and green almond.
