Since 1550, our family has been based in Valros, a small village in the Hérault department of southern France, where we still live, specifically at Domaine Montrose. Languedoc, with its sunny climate, proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, and its diverse and accessible ancient terroirs, has become the new era of the wine world. Our beautiful region cultivates talent, from established winemakers to new farmers, local and from elsewhere, all participating with a creative and competitive spirit.

Ideas emerge, macerate and ferment; we plant, cultivate, biodynamicize; we listen, taste, have fun, share… after all, we are making wine.

At Montrose we believe it is important to focus on the essentials of life: family and friends, sharing and the pleasures of life.

We are passionate about tradition, embrace innovation, and strive for excellence. We have a strong environmental commitment: our wines are certified organic or Terra Vitis, and our company is entirely carbon neutral. Since 2018, we have measured our CO₂ emissions and drastically reduced them thanks to the extensive use of eco-friendly packaging (lightweight bottles, bag-in-box) and solar energy (70% of our consumption).

Now we invite you to discover the excellence and creativity of southern France through our family's wines.
