On the Côte Vermeille, the wines of Collioure are full-bodied and bronzed, like the men who shaped the arid, steep terraces. Vines hang from these terraces, bearing grapes bathed in Catalan sunshine and caressed by the Mediterranean breeze. Collioure is the southernmost vineyard in France, yet its proximity to the sea and its altitude allow for remarkably fresh red wines!

Soil : Licorella on steep slopes from 10 to 350 m high

Winemaking : In stainless steel tanks

Aging : 70% of the wine in oak barrels and 30% of the wine in stainless steel, for 18 months.

Tasting Notes

This vintage reveals a color reminiscent of cherry.

On the nose we also find aromas of kirsch, blackberry, or even roasted notes.  

On the palate it is fresh, with silky tannins reminiscent of cocoa flavors.
