Château Fonbel is an iconic estate located in Saint-Émilion, under the care of the Lurton family, which combines tradition and modernity in its winemaking. Soil : Clay and limestone with the presence of gravel in certain plots.

Winemaking : In stainless steel tanks with a maceration of 3 to 4 weeks.

Aging : In French oak barrels for 12 to 15 months, 50% being new barrels.

Tasting Notes

Visually, it presents a deep red color with violet reflections.

On the nose it displays intense aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and currant, combined with spicy notes, hints of vanilla and cocoa derived from oak aging.

On the palate, it is ample and silky, with rounded tannins and good acidity that provides freshness and balance. The finish is long and persistent, with hints of dark fruit, sweet spices, and a subtle minerality that reflects its terroir.
