Le Tradition is the heart of Clos du Caillou, a classic and refined interpretation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Born from old Grenache vines grown on sandy soils and rolled fields, it faithfully reflects the elegance and depth of this exceptional terroir. It is a wine of perfect balance between power, finesse, and aromatic complexity.

DO : AOP Côtes du Rhône

Varieties : Grenache 60%, Syrah 40%

Climate : Mediterranean with a strong influence from the Mistral wind

Soil : Fine sands, pebbles on a base of safres (calcareous sandstones)

Winemaking : Fermentation in concrete tanks and foudres with native yeasts, partially without destemming.

Aging : 14 months in Foudres

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet color with ruby ​​highlights.

On the nose it offers great complexity: ripe black fruit (blackberry, plum), accompanied by licorice, violets, Provençal herbs and notes of graphite.

On the palate, it is ample and enveloping, with fine, structured tannins. Its balance between concentration and freshness results in a long, mineral, and persistent finish, with hints of sweet spices and dried flowers.
