The Moutard family comes from Polisy, in Côte des Bar. Lucien Moutard inherited the art of cultivating the local land from his father. He continued his work, planting up to 10 hectares of vineyards between 1950 and 1980. He passed on the fruits of a lifetime of effort to his children Agnès, Véronique, and François. A region with a very specific terroir, with a notable oceanic influence both in terms of climate and soil, with large quantities of marine fossils adding more character and complexity.
