Established in Burgundy, in the village of Fuissé, in the heart of the most beautiful terroirs of the Mâconnais, Domaine Cordier works its vineyards with the purest respect for the material and the constant search for excellence.

His expertise is unique: the pruning, with its highly personal style, the green harvesting practices (thinning and shoot removal), the choice of compost instead of fertilizers, and the manual harvesting, plot by plot, illustrate the level of meticulousness practiced at the Domaine. Similarly, in winemaking, the exclusive use of original lees and indigenous yeasts demonstrates the extent to which Christophe Cordier is committed to preserving the substance and identity of his wines.

Tasting Notes

Pale yellow color, clean, with subtle  golden reflections. A beautiful shine that  It evokes freshness and purity.

An explosion of ripe white fruits (apple, pear) and stone fruits (peach, apricot). A subtle bouquet of  White flowers (hawthorn, honeysuckle). Calcareous minerality and  hints of fresh almond, accompanied by a light touch  toasted or roasted, evidence of proper barrel aging  integrated.

A lively and fresh attack, offering a pleasant tension from the start. Broad and enveloping, balanced by well-controlled acidity. Ripe fruit (apricot, white peach), delicate citrus (lemon zest), and a touch of fresh butter and hazelnut. Discreet woody notes support the whole without overpowering it. A persistent finish, marked by a beautiful minerality and a slightly saline sensation.
