The Laroche family's winemaking origins date back a long way. 1695, 1781, and 1850 are all dates when the Laroche ancestors made progress in developing the family heritage.

Since the 1970s, Michel has been taking care of this heritage bequeathed by his father Henri, and has now grown to 22 hectares.

After years of sharing the vineyard's values with the world, the family is now passing the torch to their two daughters and entrusting Margaux with defining the estate's wine style. The family considers each vine individually. Their vineyard philosophy is simple: aside from working the vines and the soil, they intervene as little as possible. They let nature express itself. They practice sustainable viticulture and are committed to producing healthy grapes and preserving the vineyard for future generations.
